My sister put this picture insert into my birthday card for my 40th. I think I'll save it for posterity.

Surprise!

This is what you get on your birthday when you have a sneaky sister and cousins---a singing gorilla! He sang a song in his 'Elvis' voice and then most of the newsroom sang me 'Happy Birthday'.

I'm usually the one doing this sort of thing to people. It was weird being on the receiving end!
